Team 5016 Invested in Leadership, Engineering, and Diversity

About

Huntington Robotics was established in 2013 as a high school robotics team based out of Huntington, New York. Its purpose was to provide students with a pre-college experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition as Team 5016, Huntington Robotics offers an opportunity for all those in the community to experience real-world applications of engineering. In addition, members are able to build professional skills through exposure to the organization and operations of a business.

The team has aimed to make a long-lasting impact on both the members involved with the team, and the school and community that support us. By representing Huntington at the FIRST world championship four times and the team has garnered a reputation as one of the top robotics programs on Long Island. By drawing the attention of the community, the Huntington Robotics team has helped to grow the influence of STEM by showing how rewarding a field it can be.
