Huntington Robotics was established in 2013 as a high school robotics team based out of Huntington, New York. It’s purpose was to provide students with a pre-college experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition as Team 5016, Huntington Robotics offers an opportunity for all those in the community to experience real-world applications of engineering. In addition, members are able to build professional skills through exposure to the organization and operations of a business.
The team has aimed to make a long-lasting impact on both the members involved with the team, and the school and community that support us. By representing Huntington at the FIRST world championship in 2014, 2016, and 2017, the team has represented the community well, and has garnered a reputation as one of the top robotics teams on Long Island. By drawing the attention of the community, the Huntington Robotics team has helped to grow the influence of STEM by showing how rewarding a field it can be.
Donating to the team is easy. In order to expedite the donation process, the Huntington Robotics Team has established a non-profit 501(c)3 organization known as Huntington Robotics, Inc.
